When Aris met the fairies, he told them that his greatest wish was to fly the biggest airplane!<\/span><\/strong> And so, his Wish Journey began\u2026<\/p>\n

It all started with Aris\u2019s visit to the Athens Flying Week<\/strong><\/span>, where he was fascinated by the airplanes and got a first taste of what was to come.<\/p>\n

Next came the making of his uniform<\/strong><\/span>, lovingly made by experts. After the necessary measurements and fittings, the uniform was ready. An elf, who also works as a flight attendant, visited him at home to give him his uniform and his specially made professional fairy ID badge. They played together and talked a lot about airplanes and pilots.<\/p>\n

Then came the big day when his wish would come true<\/strong><\/span>. Aris put on his uniform and followed his fairy and the elf to Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. There, all the aviation experts were waiting to guide him and teach him all the secrets.<\/p>\n

He was given a tour of the aircraft maintenance area, where he learned about all the parts of the airplane.<\/p>\n

He entered the airplane and the cockpit, where he was dazzled by the many buttons! He carefully observed everything and asked questions about how everything worked, absorbing every piece of information.<\/p>\n

Next, he entered the flight simulator where pilots are trained, and he learned how to operate the cockpit. There, he received a special surprise: a pilot, who happened to be there to receive his “Golden Wings” medal for his 25-year career, saw Aris and awarded him this prestigious medal!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The last stop of his tour was the control tower, where the staff explained their important work to him. And then something magical happened! All the pilots of the company\u2019s flights arriving or departing from Athens greeted and welcomed Aris via radio, calling him their new colleague!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That evening, when Aris returned home, he sent videos to the fairies showing everything he had seen and learned.<\/p>\n

His mother told us, moved: \u201cI experienced all the anticipation and excitement together with my child throughout this entire journey! With the fulfillment of his wish, I feel like we have completed the hardest part of his treatment and we can now leave it behind us!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We wish Aris happy flights<\/em> on all the journeys of his life, always with a favorable wind!<\/p>\n
