\"\"Lightings and walks all around Greece for World Wish Day from the families and children of Make-A-Wish Greece!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]April 29th – World Wish Day – is a milestone date for Make-A-Wish worldwide and marks the anniversary of the granting of the first wish<\/strong>,<\/span> Chris’s wish, who, 44 years ago, became a police officer for a day. Chris served as an inspiration for the creation of the organization (you can read more here<\/em><\/a>). This day is celebrated every year in 50 countries around the world<\/strong><\/span> in a special and spectacular way.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Make-A-Wish Greece, on April 29th, with a gathering time at 20:15, organizes the annual Walk for Wishes 2024, in Athens, Thessaloniki… and beyond!<\/strong><\/span> This year, at the initiative<\/strong> <\/span>of wish families, the walk will also take place in other cities across Greece<\/strong><\/span>. The walks will be held at night to illuminate the Greek sky from end to end in the blue colour of Make-A-Wish with special lanterns and lighting<\/strong><\/span>, while wish children and their families will lead the way. With these symbolic walks, we will honour wish children who have fought a serious illness and recovered, or who continue to fight, as well as the memory of those who have lit our path.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″]
